Adventure Software   Presents   QuickPAINT Release 4.01a (PRO)

Introduction QuickPAINT is a fully integrated environment for creating and editing high quality 256 color images. It features an easy to use graphical interface with drop down menus and a floating toolbar. QuickPAINT can load Windows bitmaps, PCX files, and most other popular formats. QuickPAINT was created for use with QuickBASIC, and includes a number of libraries and code modules which you can include in your own programs. If you want excellent graphics in your next QuickBASIC program, you need to download this package!

What It Includes The QuickPAINT internet package (you can download it free from this page!) includes version 4.01a of the QuickPAINT graphics program described above. It also includes a palette editor, a mouse cursor editor, a font editor, and a utility to convert animated GIF files to G13 files. Several sample images are included with this package, as well as a QuickBASIC demo program. Two QuickBASIC libraries are included for your convenience, too: the BLAST! VGA animation library by Andrew Ayers, and the official QuickPAINT image library. And also included is the thing that most program packages leave out: A complete user's guide (66 pages!) that explains every feature of QuickPAINT so you can use it to its full advantage. To download this package absolutely free, click here!

EDRAW Users EDRAW is another QuickBASIC image editing program that is very much like QuickPAINT. For this very reason, QuickPAINT is backwards compatible with all graphics files and palettes EDRAW creates.

Other Stuff Why, you may ask yourself, is such a great program free? Absolutely free, no strings attached? Well, it's because there aren't any quality graphics editing programs for QuickBASIC, and because no one wants to have to pay to get some shareware thing shipped to them last-class mail, anyway. So it's free. Give it to all your friends. Post it on other sites. Just don't take credit for it, and make sure that all of the original files are included, unmodified. You may just find that QuickPAINT is the most useful program package that you ever used!
